Q. Are the Customizable Contract Templates with Video Resources and Live Office Hours and your other products the only legal documents I need as a consultant, coach or professional service provider?

For most  entrepreneurs, consultants, coaches or professional services providers, these are the primary legal documents you will need. There are certain exceptions, such as if you have very non-standard services and/or provide services in a highly regulated area (for example, you are a physician who consults for pharmaceutical companies), you might need additional templates (or customization). Another example would be if you are a software developer and have created commercial software (i.e. just like Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word) that you license to customers without providing any services to them. In this instance, you would also want a software license agreement.

Q. Do I need a lawyer to look over these legal documents once I’ve customized them?

To customize these legal templates, you simply fill in the details where indicated, and they are ready to go. Everything you need to complete will be highlighted in yellow, and we provide the template in Word so you can easily edit it. Plus, each customizable contract template includes a detailed video “walk-through” of the template.

While you are always free to engage a local attorney if you wish, the purpose of our contract templates with video resources and other products is to equip consultants and professional services providers with quality templates that they easily customize themselves and use in their business right away.

Q. Are these legal documents valid only in the US, or outside of the US too?

The templates are based on US legal principles. While most of the language is applicable in other countries, there are likely some terms which may need localizing.

Q. Do these templates need to be customized specifically to my industry?

For most coaches, consultants and professional service providers, the templates should not need any further customization. If your industry is highly regulated (such as medical consulting, or power plant design), then additional customizations might be required.

Q. What's the difference between these legal templates and say... others currently out there in the market?

Q. Will you show me exactly how to use them?

Each module will walk you through the relevant template, including an explanation of the purpose of the template, the key terms, and the places where you need to customize them to fit your business. Q. How will I receive the templates?

Q. I'm time poor - how long does each Customizable Contract Template take to do?

It should take you approximately 1 hour to watch the video resources and customize your contract template. Some templates are a little quicker, some may be a little longer.

Q. Can I get a refund if I don’t like the template?

Unfortunately, due to the fact that the contract templates are immediately downloadable by you in an unlocked Word format, all sales are final. Once you’ve downloaded these templates that we’ve spent hours of time and expertise creating - and which literally represent thousands of hours of legal experience - they’re downloaded and we cannot get them back from you.

Q. When I use these legal documents in my business, can you help me negotiate them with specific clients?

Yes. Working one-on-one with you to help you negotiate contracts is not part of the Customizable Contract Templates with Video Resources and Live Office Hours, but it is a service we offer. To take this service up, you will need to enter into an engagement letter with the Health & Technology Law Firm, LLC. Q. Can I tell a client that you are my private attorney if I don’t enter into an engagement letter with the Health & Technology Law Firm?
